Every student starts with an informal assessment to pinpoint gaps and strengths. We then tailor a plan just for them—no generic workbooks or cookie-cutter lessons. You’ll also get regular updates so you know how your student is progressing.
Math Instruction
At PEMDASSA, we don’t teach math like it’s a list of rules to memorize. We help students understand the why behind the how, using visual models, real-world problems, and strategies that stick.
Brain-Based, Research-Backed Learning
We use visuals, storytelling, games, and manipulatives to align with how students actually learn. Our instruction draws from the Building Thinking Classrooms model and other proven strategies to maximize engagement and retention.

Meet Your Tutor
Hi, I’m Adassa Pacheco—Founder of PEMDASSA.
I’ve spent years helping students not only improve their math skills but believe in themselves as mathematicians. I hold a degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and a middle grades math certification. My classroom experience includes everything from 5th grade to 7th grade honors math, and I design every PEMDASSA session to spark student thinking, creativity, and confidence.
